As an artist I am looking to embrace and celebrate the female figure, I aim to reclaim agency over my own expression of my sexuality as well as to reclaim erotic art and female sexuality from the male gaze. I want to create a space for art and emotion that has been hidden behind fear of expression due to social constructs, homophobia and oppression.

My work is centered around pleasure in an attempt to normalise it and reclaim our right as women to express it without objectification, it looks at female form and sensuality as well as the depth of attraction and love.

My work is often large scale and made in sepia, black and white or carefully selected colours and angles engage the viewer and draw them into the scene. The figures have an immediacy to them that shows the privacy and vulnerability of the moments they portray. The scale of my work is larger than life size, magnifying a private and intimate moment giving it a sense of grandeur.
